Ladies of the jury, I put it to you that I have taken no more liberties with sixties fashion tropes, than Palladio did with the elements of Classical architecture. I have played by the rules! I have just played by the rules of cricket and soccer at the same time.
The fabric is a stretch jacquard from Brazil, reminiscent of Twiggy’s tweed miniskirts. The bottom half can (and should!) be worn topless, as a monokini. The top is there for prudence, and is the same as my La Piscine bikini. The cap features a feature, something I wouldn’t normally feature, but sometimes it’s fun to throw a fish to a seal.
A degree of tummy control is provided by the structural lining.
Leg Line
I minimise gaping at the rear (a standard problem with boylegs) by running tensioned rubber through the rear leg seam, then loosening the tension through the front leg for comfort. Our boy leg is slightly shorter than most, to do away with the need for any centre-back seam.
